If so, you’re probably looking out for music with lots of character to keep you inspired - music that carries you forwards from first ‘hands together’ pieces to pieces that match the challenge of the Grade One exam.

Countdown to Grade One could be just what you need. From the first piece (number 14!) to the last (number 1!) it provides the perfect countdown to exam success.

To consolidate achievement, the last three pieces are all at around the exam standard and candidates choosing the ‘Recital’ option could present one of these as their ‘own choice’ item.

Designed for adults and children alike, each of the 14 pieces has one or more questions related to its style, meaning or technical requirements.
